VOTE "Voice On The Election"

I voted!! Get out there and do the same if you haven't!! Please don't feel like your vote doesn't matter. In about 26 states it is set up that the popular vote selects your states electors! In those states it is state law that they cast their vote by who wins the popular vote. If they don't, they get fined severely. So vote!!!!!

I am really enjoying my co-workers. Each one is so unique and a blast to chat with. I never really liked "girl-chat" until now. It's do out of character for me!! Anyway, one particular co-worker has stood out as someone that shares a lot of similar interest, views, and lifestyle. Well, today I discovered that her live-in boyfriend is an inactive member of our church!! I knew there was something!!! They are both really great people and have two small kids together. She also has two older kids from a previous marriage. I want to invite them over for dinner. I am just so excited. I'm not sure if they are planning on getting married but they are so sweet to each other!

Balloonfest Poteau Oklahoma

This weekend was Balloonfest in Poteau.  It was awesome seeing the hot air balloons.  We didn't get to ride in them but just seeing their size was incredible enough.  There was also a carnival attached to it and rode several of the rides.  Chris and I tag teamed while one of us stayed with Jack and the other went with the girls on the rides.  I discovered after eleven years of marriage that Chris doesn't like ferris wheels.  How did I not know that??  The event I enjoyed the most was the dog show.  We saw dogs catching frisbees and doing flips!!

Yesterday I came home from the grocery store and was able to unload everything I had bought onto our itty-bitty kitchen table. I had spent about$80. I stood and sadly viewed the meager amount of food $80 will buy now-a-days...very sad...
